The Full Story
With STX Critter Care, I will provide reliable and loving pet sitting services for pets of all kinds. Whether you have a cat, dog, rabbit, reptile, donkey, or farm fowl, I have the experience to take care of them. I believe that pets deserve the best care, especially when their owners are away. I provide drop-in care services, with occasional overnights, depending on your pet's needs, to ensure that your pets are happy, healthy, and safe. I am committed to providing personalized care and attention to each pet.
In 2021, my husband, cat, and I moved to STX, but unfortunately, we are unable to have more than Benjamin (the cat) as a pet, where we currently reside. Although I have a cat, I miss being surrounded by other animals. Before our move, we lived on a 20-acre farm where we cared for donkeys, chickens, ducks, geese, quail, honey bees, and more.
My love for animals has always been evident, and I have often been sought after for pet advice. For as long as I can remember, I have often received the comment "wow, he/she let you pet them?!". And my mom always tells the story from when I was a toddler and confidently waltzed up to a huge great dane with my hand outstretched saying "puppy???". As a reliable pet sitter, I have provided care for animals throughout my life, even as a kid and teen. Animals hold a special place in my heart, I am always drawn to them, and I believe they deserve the best care possible.
I consider myself an animal intuitive, with the ability to understand how most animals are feeling. My years of pet ownership and love for wildlife and domestic animals have taught me keen observation skills. There are no limits to my love of animals and I am willing to take on any pet. No breed restrictions as big lovable bully breeds have a special place in my heart. I am confident that I will be a great fit for your pets, no matter the species. I am happy to be taught how to take care of a new species of pet that I haven't yet cared for.
Outside of my love of animals., I am an artist. I have been thankful being on STX because the vibe just makes artist do more art. ❤️

Training and Certifications
Animal education is important to me, and so is knowing how to do the right thing, or contact the right people when situations may arise. I will take certifications and trainings where I can when the opportunities arise.
I plan to pursue dog training certifications to further my knowledge and skills. I am committed to ongoing animal education and strive to stand out from the crowd with my expertise and dedication to animal care.
Pet First Aid Online Training
The American Red Cross offers an Online Certification for Cat and Dog First Aid.
I completed this Certificate on March 27, 2024.
